The largest capacity mSATA SSD available in the market today, this innovative new product offers users all the performance of an SSD without the previous 256GB mSATA capacity limitations.
EDGE Memory, a leading U.S.-based supplier of memory and storage upgrades, announces the release of the highly anticipated 480GB Boost Pro mSATA SSD. The largest capacity mSATA SSD available in the market today, this product offers users the performance of an SSD without the previous 256GB capacity limitations. Measuring about 1/8 the size of a standard 2.5inch Solid State Drive, it’s revolutionary form factor makes the 480GB Boost Pro mSATA an ideal upgrade solution for Ultrabooks, small form factor notebooks, mobile devices, and mini PCIe embedded solutions.
“We are very excited about this product”, said Brandi Rocha, Marketing Manager at EDGE. “It really showcases how far we have come as a company in our engineering and product development efforts. We have one of the best engineering teams in the business. They truly are innovative and always on the cutting edge of new technology”.
Built with a premium SandForce controller, the Boost Pro mSATA can achieve ultra fast read and write speeds. In comparison to a standard hard drive, an EDGE SSD can decrease system boot times by up to 5x and significantly increase overall speed and performance. As with all Boost SSDs, the Boost Pro mSATA comes standard with AES hardware encryption and a full suite of performance and stability enhancing features such as TRIM, ECC, Durawrite, RAISE, and more.
The 480GB Boost Pro mSATA SSD is available today through select channel partners (http://www.edgememory.com/where-to-buy.aspx). All Boost SSDs are made in the U.S.A. and are TAA compliant.
